Overview
TM Process & Controls, Inc. (TMPC) delivered a turnkey hot water batch tank skid solution for a batch area at a beverage production facility in Auburndale, Florida. The system enables efficient water and dry ingredient batching, circulation, heating, and manual transfer to downstream process tanks.
Problem
The facility required a compact and automated hot water batching system to support precise temperature control for mixing processes, with integration into an existing batching workflow.
Solution
TMPC engineered and fabricated a 500-gallon insulated skid equipped with a high-shear agitator, sanitary pump, shell and tube heat exchanger, steam temperature control, and full automation via a CompactLogix PLC and PanelView HMI. The system included mass metering, RTDs, and historian compatibility for improved batch tracking.
